Jacqueline Libby
PERFORMER/MOVER/CREATOR
Jacqueline Libby is a creator, actor, and theatre collaborator based in Philadelphia, PA.
Jacqueline’s work focuses on the intensity of human connection by zooming in on the subtleties and minute details of life and exploding them for the stage. Through intricately ordinary choreographies, stripped back dialogue, and operatic images, Jacqueline creates time and space for people to think
about their life, and the world around them in deep and personal ways.
In addition to creating her own work, Jacqueline has collaborated with many artists from across the United States and abroad.
These artists include Yael Bratana and the Philadelphia Museum of Art,
Sean Graney of The Hypocrites,
Thadd McQuade, and Colleen Sulivan.
Jacqueline has studied under Maria Horne, Jo Strømgern, Nichole Canuso, Stephen McKinley Henderson, Kate LoConti, and Phylicia Rashad.
Jacqueline has recently completed a
Master of Fine Arts in Devised Performance
at the University of the Arts led by
the Pig Iron Theatre Company.
Jacqueline is the Co-Artistic Director of inFLUX - a theater collective.
